Mini-lift, Facelift, and Necklift
Facelifts and/or Necklifts, also called “Rhytidectomy,” aim to optimize the contour of your jawline and neck. There are many surgical and non-surgical options for rejuvenating the face, including “Mini-Lifts” and full lifts. All of these procedures target the loose and ptotic facial skin and soft tissue, and restore a natural youthfulness by lifting underlying facial soft tissue and removing redundant skin. All incisions are strategically placed in the shadows around the ear, within the hairline, or under the neck, depending on your needs and your individual anatomy. The goal of these lifting procedures is to rejuvenate your face and neck in a natural way that avoids a “surgical look.”
During your initial consultation, your surgeon will meet with you to listen to your medical history, perform a comprehensive examination of your facial and neck anatomy, and discuss surgical and non-surgical options, risks and benefits. Your specific goals and desires will be discussed, and a tailored approach will be designed. Surgeries can be performed in the office under local anesthesia or in the operating room with anesthesia, depending on patient and surgeon preferences. All surgeries are performed by a double board-certified Harvard facial plastic surgeon in a Harvard-affiliated facility.
