It’s Nice to Meet You!
At Atrius Health, we believe the best healthcare starts with knowing you. Odds are, you want a doctor who knows more than your medical history – you want someone who understands your health goals, listens to what matters to you, and helps you make the best decisions for your health over time. That’s the value of primary care, and it’s at the heart of everything we do.This page will help you get acquainted with our practice, understand what to expect as a new patient, and find the information and resources you need to get started with confidence.
Getting Started
A few simple steps before your appointment can help make your first visit as smooth and productive as possible. Taking care of these items in advance gives your new care team a more complete picture of your health, allowing us to spend more time focused on you and your goals during your visit.- Sign up and Activate your MyHealth Online account so you can manage appointments, communicate with your care team, view test results, and access visit information, right from the first appointment.
- Request your medical records from your previous provider so your Atrius Health care team has a complete understanding of your health history.
- If you scheduled your first appointment online, please call our Central Registration Team at 1-800-249-1767 to confirm your health insurance information. They are available Monday – Friday, from 8:00am – 6:00pm.
Let’s Make the Most of Your First Visit!
Your first appointment is an opportunity for us to get to know you – not just your medical history, but your health goals, concerns, and priorities.
To help make your visit go as smoothly as possible, we've put together a few helpful reminders:
- Plan to arrive 15–20 minutes before your scheduled appointment.
- Have your insurance card available.
- Bring all medications you take, including over-the-counter medications and supplements. Whenever possible, bring the actual medication bottles.
- Bring a list of specialists you currently see.
- Write down any questions or concerns you'd like to discuss so you and your new provider can address what matters most to you. Remember: there are no "small" questions when it comes to your health!
Check In Your Way
You can check in:
- Through your MyHealth Online account, which allows you to check in starting 7 days before your appointment, at a time that‘s most convenient for you.
- At a self-service kiosk in many of our locations.
- With one of our friendly front-desk team members when you arrive.
No matter which option you choose, we're here to help make your arrival easy and efficient.
Care That’s There When You Need It
We believe great care means having the right people, expertise, and resources working together for you. Many of our primary care providers (PCPs) work alongside a dedicated physician assistant (PA) or nurse practitioner (NP), expanding access to care and providing additional support for everything from preventive care and chronic condition management to an illness or injury. You can’t always predict when you’ll need care, but we try to be there when you do. We have experienced medical professionals available by phone 24/7, and our urgent care teams and on-site labs, X-rays and pharmacies offer other convenient ways to get care when you need it.
And when you need more specialized care, we believe it should remain connected. Atrius Health has an extensive network of highly skilled specialists with whom your primary care clinician can connect you when appropriate, helping keep your care coordinated from the start. Because your clinicians share a medical record, they can easily stay informed about your health history, medications, test results and treatment plans.
