Skip the Line! Atrius Health Offers Many Convenient Check-in Options

It has happened to us all – the day you are running late for an appointment is the day that there’s a line at the check-in desk. And even as efficient and helpful as our Atrius Health main check-in staff are, it can happen at our practices, too.

We can now offer you two alternative ways to skip the line and check in quickly and conveniently.

In-Practice Check-in Kiosks

Check-in Kiosk
Look for our new check-in kiosks installed in 15 of our practice locations. Just touch the screen to begin. You can either select one of the prompted options for the system to look up your information or scan your QR code with the barcode scanner (found under the righthand corner of the kiosk screen) if you completed the Pre-Visit update in MyHealth Online.

You can then check in for your eligible appointment, confirm your insurance, sign any consents, pay co-pays or account balances, and complete the Same Day Symptom Screener, which asks about any new or worsening respiratory symptoms.

If you are all set, the kiosk will instruct you to proceed directly to the department for your appointment or give you other instructions.

Pre-Visit Update via MyHealth Online

Introduced a few years ago, Pre-Visit Update allows patients with a MyHealth Online account to check in for their appointments. Here’s how it works:
  • A day or two before your appointment, log into your MyHealth Online account, either through the MyChart App on your mobile device or from the MyHealth Online website on your desktop.
  • Follow the prompt on the home screen to complete your Pre-Visit Update, which asks you to confirm information like your insurance and current medications. You can also pay any copays online and sign any needed consent forms in advance.
  • On the day of your appointment, you’ll be prompted to complete the Same Day Symptom Screener, which asks about any new or worsening respiratory symptoms.
  • When you arrive at the practice, log into the MyChart app on your mobile device. Your home screen will prompt you to click “I’m Here.” Complete any last steps, and if you are all set, the system will let you know to proceed directly to the department for your appointment or give you other instructions.
