Biography
Dr. Veena Mathew earned her undergraduate degree from Carnegie Mellon University and completed her medical degree and ophthalmology residency at Boston University. She also completed a Master of Public Health at BU and has volunteered in India as a Global Impact Fellow with Unite for Sight.
With over a decade of experience, Dr. Mathew has performed thousands of cataract surgeries. She is deeply committed to delivering care with compassion. She received a 2025 Patient Choice Award, a testament to the exceptional care she provides her patients.
