Biography
Dr. Kapil Kumar is the director of arrhythmia services. He is board certified in cardiovascular diseases and cardiac electrophysiology. He specializes in the management of heart rhythm disorders (such as atrial fibrillation, SVT, and ventricular tachycardia) and cardiac devices (such as pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators).
Dr. Kumar joined Atrius Health in 2009 and performs the majority of his procedures at BIDMC in Boston. He is an instructor in medicine, part-time, at Harvard Medical School where he is involved in teaching students and residents. He has published original research journal articles as well as book chapters on various electrophysiology topics.
