Biography
Dr. Joseph DeAngelis is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in sports medicine and shoulder surgery. His interests include arthroscopic shoulder surgery for injures to the rotator cuff, labrum, and biceps; arthroscopic knee surgery to treat injuries to the ACL and meniscus; and open shoulder surgery including shoulder replacement.
Dr. DeAngelis received his MD from the University of Massachusetts Medical School and completed his internship and residency at University of Connecticut. He then completed a fellowship in sports medicine and shoulder surgery at Vanderbilt University. He is an associate professor of orthopedic surgery at Harvard Medical School.
