Biography
Dr. Fernandez studied at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and completed internal medicine and nephrology training at the University of Chicago. He specializes in taking care of patients with kidney disease and resistant hypertension.
Dr. Fernandez values applying evidence-based medicine to develop personalized treatment plans for each patient. He believes home dialysis can be an important way to help patients. During his free time, he enjoys being with his family as well as reading, birdwatching and baseball.
