Biography
Dr. Carol Burd is a primary care physician in Wellesley, where she has been practicing since 1992. Dr. Burd graduated from Tufts University with honors and earned her medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School. She completed her residency training at Mount Auburn Hospital and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
Dr. Burd is the recipient of Atrius Health's Compassionate Caregiver Award, Patient Experience Distinction Award, and the Patient Choice Award. Dr. Burd holds a faculty appointment at Harvard Medical School. She enjoys exercising and is active in her temple's sisterhood. Her husband is also a physician, and they have two children.
