Biography
Dr. Steven Shields is a gastroenterologist providing expert care for multiple digestive health conditions. He specializes in managing heartburn, Barrett's Esophagus, chronic GI conditions and in the prevention of colon cancer. He has expertise in procedures like colonoscopy and upper endoscopies.
Dr. Shields earned his medical degree from Tufts University College of Medicine and completed his medical residency and GI fellowship at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center and Faulkner Hospital. In his free time, he enjoys golf, tennis, and travel.
