INFLUENZA (FLU) SEASON

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends vaccination against influenza for all individuals over the age of 6 months. Annual vaccination is especially important for those 50 years and older, people with chronic conditions that could put them at risk for severe complications from the flu, as well as their household contacts.

Our Atrius Health practices are still offering our patients flu vaccination, either at routinely scheduled appointments in primary care and OB/Gyn, by calling your primary care provider, or at our onsite pharmacies (for patients 19 years of age and older).

As getting the flu vaccine is very important, Atrius Health encourages patients to take advantage of any convenient option to get a flu vaccine. To learn more about the seasonal flu and the flu vaccine, please visit the CDC website or explore the information we have provided in this section.
