Biography
Dr. Ramya Prabhakar, chief of palliative care, leads a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering compassionate person-centered care for individuals and families navigating serious illnesses. She works to ensure every patient receives care aligned with their values, goals, and quality-of-life priorities.
Dr. Prabhakar graduated from the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University, completed her residency at UMass Medical Center, and is board-certified in internal medicine and in hospice and palliative medicine. She is committed to expanding access to high-quality palliative care across diverse communities.
