Cosmetic and Functional Rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty or Septorhinoplasty aims to optimize both the aesthetics and the function of the nose. Rhinoplasty can include dorsal hump reduction to improve the profile of the nose, tip refinement to improve a bulbous or large nasal tip, and surgical modifications to bring more balance to the central portion of your face. Breathing issues and prior nasal fractures can be addressed through functional septorhinoplasty. Functional and cosmetic issues can be performed during the same surgical procedure. Unless you have sleep-apnea or other medical problems, rhinoplasty is generally an outpatient procedure.

During your initial consultation, your surgeon will meet with you to listen to your medical history, perform a comprehensive examination of your nose, and discuss surgical options, risks and benefits based on your nasal anatomy and your goals. These surgeries are performed under general anesthesia in a Harvard-affiliated hospital, by a double board-certified Harvard facial plastic surgeon. Contact our office at 781-431-5275 to schedule a private consultation with one of our physicians.
