Welcome to Pregnancy: Initial Obstetric Appointment for New Patients

If you are newly-pregnant, we are pleased to offer you the ability to schedule a “Welcome to Pregnancy” telephone visit with one of our obstetrical (OB/GYN) nurses.

The nurse will help you select your Atrius Health OB/GYN care team based on where you’d like to receive your prenatal care and where you’d like to deliver. During this telephone visit the nurse will also answer your questions, order necessary labs, and make note of your medical and pregnancy history in preparation for your first prenatal office visit.

Please note: In our online appointment system, our OB/GYN nurses are assigned to a location for identification purposes only. You may select any nurse for your initial phone visit based on the date and time most convenient for you; this does not have to be at the same location where you will choose to receive your in-person, prenatal care with Atrius Health.
