The Harvard Vanguard Medford practice has been caring for residents of Medford, Malden, Melrose, Winchester, Saugus and many other nearby cities and towns since 1982. The office is conveniently located just off Route 93, across from the Medford City Hall.
Our Medford practice provides primary care for adults and children, as well as a full range of medical and surgical specialty care. Our preferred hospital partners include Mount Auburn Hospital, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Winchester Hospital, Boston Children's Hospital and New England Baptist Hospital.

The optical shop is open by appointment only, Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm. Please call for an appointment.

24/7 Medical Advice
Medical advice is available to patients by telephone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you need medical advice after office hours, please call your doctor's office. Follow the phone prompts to be routed to our after-hours triage service staffed by nurse practitioners and physician assistants with access to your electronic medical record.
Weekend & Holiday Urgent Care
All patients have access to adult and pediatric weekend and holiday urgent care at our regionally located practices. Unless it is a life-threatening emergency (in which case you should call 911), you can use our weekend and holiday urgent care hours for most health-related situations.

From Route 93 South:
Take Route 93 South to Exit 23 (Old 32, Medford Square). Bear right at the bottom of the ramp onto Salem Street. At the first set of lights, you will see our offices on your left. Since you will be on a one way street, take your next left onto River Street, then a left onto Riverside Avenue, and then a left onto City Hall Mall. The Harvard Vanguard parking garage is directly on your left.
From Route 93 North:
Take Route 93 North to Exit 23, (Old 32, Medford Square). Bear left at the bottom of the ramp and continue around the rotary onto Salem Street (Route 60 West) toward Medford Square. At the first set of lights, you will see our offices on your left. Since you will be on a one way street, take your next left onto River Street, then a left onto Riverside Avenue, and then a left onto City Hall Mall. The Harvard Vanguard parking garage is directly on your left.
From the West (Arlington, Somerville):
Follow Route 16 (Mystic Valley Parkway) to Route 93 North. Get off at Exit 23 (Old 32). Bear left at the bottom of the ramp and proceed around the rotary onto Salem Street (Route 60 West) toward Medford Square. At the first set of lights, you will see our offices on your left. Since you will be on a one way street, take your next left onto River Street, then a left onto Riverside Avenue, and then a left onto City Hall Mall. From the East (Malden, Medford):
Follow Route 60 West to the intersection of Route 93. Go through the rotary passing under Route 93, and bear right onto Salem Street (Route 60 West) toward Medford Square. At the first set of lights, you will see our offices on your left. Since you will be on a one way street, take your next left onto River Street, then a left onto Riverside Avenue, and then a left onto City Hall Mall.
