Personal Interests
From age five through my entire childhood, I lived in Puerto Rico. College and graduate school brought me to Washington DC where I lived until 1991. My family is multicultural and bilingual; we speak English and Spanish at home. I am married and have three children in the Boston Public Schools.
I have been a member of the Boston School Committee since February 2004, and I enjoy my family and travel. My children would also add talking to friends as one of my interests.
